Welcome to the Queens Guide page

Are you interested in the Queen’s Guide Award?

My name is Gemma Farley and am the County Queen’s Guide Co-ordinator for Sussex Central. I became a Queen’s Guide in 2009 and therefore have first-hand knowledge and experience of what the Queen’s Guide Award entails.

The Queen’s Guide Award is the highest award that members can work toward in Guiding. It is based on the concepts of personal challenge and participation and is split into five sections: service in Guiding, outdoor challenge, personal skill development, community action, and residential.

The award is open to anyone who is 16 to 25 years and must be completed within three years or before your 26th birthday, whichever is sooner.

What next?

If you think the award is for you, or someone you know, then visit the Awards and Qualifications page on the Senior Section Girlguiding website and contact me to discuss. I can be contacted by email qga_girlguidingsussexcentral@outlook.com

I look forward to working with many more members to help achieve this fantastic award.

Yours in Guiding

Gemma Farley
