Welcome to Haywards Heath Division

Division Commissioner Judith Trappit

We are an enthusiastic and growing Division which is made up of four Districts.

Forest District, takes in the villages of Balcombe, Bolney, Cuckfield, Handcross, Staplefield and the surrounding countryside.  This District is presently made up of 3 Brownie Units.

Perrymount District, includes various schools and communities in Haywards Heath.  This District consists of 1 Rainbow Unit, 5 Brownie Units, 3 Guide Units and 1 Senior Section Unit.

Rural District, encompasses the villages of Ardingly, Horsted Keynes, Lindfield and adjoining countryside.  This District presently has 1 Rainbow Unit, 3 Brownie Units, 1 Joint Rainbow/Brownie Unit and 3 Guide Units.

Town District, contains many of the schools and neighbourhoods near the town centre of Haywards Heath.  This District is made up of 2 Rainbow Units, 2 Brownie Units and 1 Guide Unit.

Haywards Heath Division enjoys having Division-wide fun days for all Sections!  As well as many Districts also hold events which includes all ages and Units.

Fund raising for local charities has always been important within Haywards Heath
Division.  This includes the annual Lions Club Swimarathon in Haywards Heath.

Doing special projects for our community is especially important as seen with the Brownies planting flowers outside The Yews.  Local Brownies and Guides also helped in the unveiling of the World War I Memorial.

All units are run by volunteers and we always need more help to be able to offer more great opportunities to the girls and young women in our division.

If you live in one of our districts and you or your daughter would like to join us, please register her/yourself on our main girlguiding website https://www.girlguiding.org.uk/get-involved/ or email us: ccgirlguidingsussexcentral@gmail.com
